Silver Palace's excellent and eccentric Gamescom 2026 demo made me believe the hype

At Gamescom 2026, I had the opportunity to go hands-on with Silver Palace, the eagerly awaited ARPG from Elementa Games. The demo exceeded all my expectations and convinced me that the hype was well-founded. The combat system feels fluid and deep, with a variety of moves and builds to experiment with. The art direction is both gorgeous and eccentric, featuring strange yet alluring environments and character designs. What truly stands out is the game's quirky personality—it doesn't take itself too seriously and constantly surprises with inventive ideas. Though the hands-on time was limited, it was enough to see that Silver Palace is something special. Fans of action RPGs should definitely keep an eye on this one, as it might be one of the most exciting titles to come out of the show. From an industry perspective, it's refreshing to see a smaller studio deliver such a distinctive experience, proving that creativity and originality still have a place in the genre. We're eagerly looking forward to its full release.
